"The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing." - Zephaniah 3:17
.
"O God, we have heard it with our own ears—our ancestors have told us of all you did in their day, in days long ago: You drove out the pagan nations by your power and gave all the land to our ancestors. You crushed their enemies and set our ancestors free. They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you loved them. You are my King and my God. You command victories for Israel. Only by your power can we push back our enemies; only in your name can we trample our foes. I do not trust in my bow; I do not count on my sword to save me. You are the one who gives us victory over our enemies; you disgrace those who hate us. O God, we give glory to you all day long and constantly praise your name." - Psalm 44:1-8

Some thoughts are so powerful, they can change your life. Or at least they should.

This passage is that way. If you missed these words, “The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing,” then you need to go back to Zephaniah 3 and read them again. These words should make you feel special, like God adores you, and make you full of gratitude and thankful for His attention toward you.

If you missed these words, “The Lord your God is with you,...He will give you victory...He will give you power,” then you need to read Psalm 44 again! This word should help you to feel secure, special and loved by God.

Take a moment right now and read Psalm 44 again. Ask God to speak to your heart. Today’s verse can change your life if you let it.

Prayer:
Who am I, Lord God, that You would shower me with such attention? And yet, even with my doubt and feeble faith, today I choose to believe You. Quiet my heart with Your love, help me see with my imagination Your smile of acceptance and sense Your warm embrace of love and hear my name in Your singing. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
